Research interests: My research interests are in biomaterials as well as tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. My previous studies have focused on bridging the gap between in vitro and in vivo biological models. I aim to expand my research experience in graduate school by studying cardiac tissue to further understand its interactions with various biomaterials and extracellular matrix properties. Additionally, I would like to design three-dimensional tissue structures using bioprinting technologies for use in therapeutic and wound healing applications.

Outside of lab interests: Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, camping, and backpacking. I also love to cook, travel, and play volleyball.
